SDSIC GIS/LBS Interest Group Presents - From Location Based Services to Cloud Computing: The Future of GIS
The newly formed GIS/LBS Business Interest Group at SDSIC will like to invite you to its debut event - a panel discussion focused on the full spectrum of the GIS/LBS technologies. Learn from our panel of experts from industry and government about where the GIS/LBS technology is headed in future and hear about how confluences in advances in various technology fields such as Cloud Computing, GPS and microprocessor technologies and wireless communications is influencing the future of GIS. The panel discussion, titled "From Location Based Services to Cloud Computing: the Future of GIS" is scheduled on September 29th from 5:30 PM to 7 PM at the Intuit Campus off of Highway 56.
