TippingPoint N-Platform Receives JITC Certification
AUSTIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TippingPoint, a 3Com subsidiary and a leader in network security solutions, has achieved Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification for its intrusion prevention system (IPS) platform and management solution. Both the TippingPoint 2500N and 5100N IPS models, and the Security Management System (SMS), were tested and certified for IPv6 Capability under the JITC certification, one of the highest levels of accreditation granted by the U.S. Department of Defense.
