Sierra College Introduces Microgrants Supporting Regional Innovation Through Entrepreneurship with Funding from Wells Fargo and the Sierra College Foundation
Sierra College today announced the launch of the Sierra College Microgrant Program to provide seed funding and structured mentorship with the goal of empowering students to move their ideas into action, build a resourced network, and solve problems that matter to them. Students can apply for up to $500 as part of the program. If awarded, the grant comes with faculty and mentor support for the duration of a 90-day sprint during which students will work to advance their idea and prepare to present their concept at a spring showcase event.
