Dr. Steven Hotze Files Federal Lawsuit Against Federal Government to Stop Obamacare
On May 7, 2013, Steven F. Hotze, M.D. held a news conference in the Lt. Governor’s Press Conference Room to announce that he would be filing a federal lawsuit against the federal government. The suit, Hotze v. Sebelius, will seek to prevent the enforcement of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), known commonly as Obamacare, in Texas, asserting Constitutional objections that were not raised in the U.S. Supreme Court’s previous review of Obamacare.
