BioFit Introduces Static-Control Seating with Phthalate- and Fire-Retardant-Chemical-Free Upholstery
BioFit Engineered Products, a global leader in the design and fabrication of technical ergonomic seating and commercial furnishing solutions, recently introduced phthalate- and fire-retardant-chemical-free vinyl upholstery for its static-control/electrostatic dissipation (ESD) seating line. Developed in collaboration with Duracote Corporation to comply with mandates by the State of California and other jurisdictions, the new upholstery replaces ESD vinyl options previously offered by BioFit while meeting or exceeding static-control industry and comparative quality standards, and maintaining its predecessor’s Microcon nameplate.
