August 11, 2001, was the day it all began. Passages Malibu opened its doors to a new and innovative way of treating addiction. On that day, father and son Chris and Pax Prentiss paved the way for the addiction treatment industry to shift away from the traditional 12-Step approach and raised the standard for others who would later follow in their footsteps.
