Union Carpenters to Open their First Union Diving School for Underwater Welding in New Jersey
Union carpenters in New Jersey are preparing to open the first diving school in the country where carpenters can train other carpenters in underwater welding. The initiative, spearheaded by The Carpenters International Training Fund (CITF), will include hands-on underwater training to position New Jersey’s union workforce as the leader in the offshore wind industry space.
