Opnext & Sumitomo Present the World’s First Public Demonstration of 40GBASE-LR4 Interoperability
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Opnext, Inc. and Sumitomo Electric Industries, will host the first live public demonstration of multi-vendor interoperability of the soon to be released 40Gigabit Ethernet IEEE standard. The demonstration will take place in the Opnext booth, #802, at the OFC/NFOEC conference and exhibition in San Diego, California. The Sumitomo Electric and Opnext 40GBASE-LR4 pluggable optics based upon the CFP MSA will transmit and receive data error free over a 10km span
