SD Mines Receives Gift of Gulf of Mexico Seismic, Geophysical Data
TGS, a global multi-client geoscience data provider, has given a gift of digital seismic and well log data from the Gulf of Mexico to the Department of Geology & Geological Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, S.D. Students preparing to enter the petroleum industry will begin analyzing the information from over 3,000 square miles in the Gulf this fall.
