IXYS Introduces Two New High Current 6kV Rectifier Diodes With Surge Current Rating of 36000 Amperes
LEIDEN, Netherlands & CHIPPENHAM, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IXYS Corporation (NASDAQ:IXYS), an international power and IC semiconductor company, today announced that its wholly owned UK subsidiary, IXYS UK Westcode Ltd., introduced two new, 6kV pressure contact rectifier diodes. The two new diodes have current ratings of 2830A and 3090A and are encapsulated in fully hermetic ceramic packages with copper electrodes. The new 69mm die devices are available in industry standard 26mm and 35mm thick
