Elara and Microsoft have revolutionized Alcon’s training into an interactive, experiential feat that is light years ahead of any other technique in the clinical education space. Alcon engaged with Elara, a strategic creative agency, to think outside the box. The goal was to incorporate engaging technology and tools into current practices of training and marketing. Partnering with Microsoft, Elara filmed interactive performances and integrated it into a virtual reality application. The end user of the VR application will not only have the freedom of motion, but also the ability to interact with a ‘virtual’ patient in a clinical environment.
