Sumitomo Chemical America, Inc., ("SCAI") announces that it has become a Limited Partner (LP) in the investment fund, Cultivian Sandbox Food & Agriculture (Fund III). SCAI’s Corporate Venturing and Innovation Office (CVI) was formed to promote and engage the innovation ecosystem in the U.S. Today the CVI team is building relationships with promising startups and entrepreneurs. In addition to investing in the AgriFood ecosystem, CVI’s other priority areas include healthcare, the environment and information, and communication technology (ICT).
