The job market for well-trained practical nurses is expected to remain strong for the next several years in British Columbia. As current LPNs retire and the aging population increases its demand for health care services, it is expected that the need for nurses, LPNs especially, will stay high. This fall, UCW Academy of Health will launch a new nursing program in Victoria that will help train students to meet the demand for nurses in the province. (PRWeb Aug 30, 2009)
